New Roughneck 1010

We are proud to introduce to you: The NEW Roughneck 1010

The new Roughneck 1010 is a new design that will be offered in carbon or GRP composite. This fighter jet styled RIB is designed to be a leisure RIB, a super yacht tender and in either case a very fast RIB. The Roughneck can be fitted with a T-top and stylish cabin with ample room for a bed or storage. The construction of the stepped hull makes for a very fast and smooth sailing experience. Combined with a pair of Mercury Racing 400 hp outboards a top speed of 78 knots – 145 km/h can be achieved.

The two tenders were designed specifically to accompany its Wally mother ship “Better Place”

Thought-through design

Together with the design team of Mulder Design the 10.10 meter Roughneck is created. The new console features a seat up front and a sleeping area inside of 2 meter. An example of this thought-trough design is that the T-top can be lowered to the height of the seats to create a low profile for transport, storage and to cover the equipment and seats when docked in the marina.

Outstanding performance

In terms of its construction, the Roughneck 1010 is designed for speed, maximum comfort in the water and excellent manoeuvrability. Weight savings and structural strength were a key aspect during the design phase and this was achieved using lightweight materials and next-generation building technologies. The stepped hull technology used in all Roughneck models allows you to achieve higher speeds while maintaining stability and low fuel consumption.

Technology

The Roughneck 1010’s carbon dashboard features a Raymarine glass bridge system with two touchscreens at the helm. The throttle and steering wheel are placed more ergonomically to the helmsman. This together with the four suspended seats make the Roughneck comfortable to drive for long distances.

Bas Mulder: “Roughneck has a strong reputation in the offshore RIB racing community for many years. Over the past decade multiple high quality performance Roughneck Rib’s have been delivered and are serving as yacht tenders. On the most recent Roughneck 1010 T-top model, these two worlds merged together and resulted in a Full carbon multi stepped hull. Performing as never before and the detailing and build quality that makes this RIB a must have!”
