Lumen E10
The e-boat revolution starts here
We are proud to have played a key role in the creation of the highly innovative all-electric LUMEN E10. This ten-metre e-boat is a gamechanger in various ways. The result of five years of meticulous R&D, the LUMEN E10’s smart design, cutting-edge technology and custom-crafted hull make for whisper-quiet sailing. This is in stark contrast to most electric boats where noise from other sources means you don’t get the peaceful cruising experience you’d expect from the absence of a combustion engine.
What’s more, LUMEN E10 owners and their guests will be enjoying the extra serenity for far longer than normal thanks to a highly efficient streamlined hull which offers a range of 100 to 160 kilometres at a cruising speed of 13 km/h. Built in sustainable vinyl ester in a vacuum-infused sandwich construction, the hull is 50% lighter than would be the case in aluminium or polyester. You can also waterski and wakeboard in silence behind the vessel at speeds of 30-35 km/h.
Iconic design
A spacious cockpit, sunbed and swim platform offer other options to embrace true sailing-yacht tranquillity on the water with all the conveniences of a motorboat. Mulder Design is responsible for the sleek and minimalist above-water design as well as the interior while the hull is the brainchild of Jaap de Jonge from JR Yachts.
You can make plans to see the LUMEN E10 for yourself. The launch model of this revolutionary e-boat has embarked on a tour of eleven top leisure marine venues in the Netherlands followed by visits to Switzerland, Italy and the South of France. See the full itinerary on www.lumenyachts.com
